POWER VAC POOL SERVICE • Long Island, NY

Power Vac Pool Service on Long Island

When your pool is green, cloudy, or loaded with debris, Empire Pools’ Power Vac service gives you a fast reset. Our techs use dedicated vac-to-waste cleanups, brushing, and circulation checks to pull heavy debris off the floor, improve clarity, and get your pool back on track safely instead of just “dumping in shock.”

What to Expect

Built for Heavy Cleanups on Long Island

Power Vac is designed for pools that are beyond a normal cleaning — thick leaves on the floor, algae blooms after a late opening, pump or filter issues that left the water cloudy, or heavy debris after storms. We start by checking circulation, equipment, and water level so we can safely vacuum to waste or through the filter depending on your setup. Our techs brush and manually vacuum the floor and trouble spots, purge debris, and set up circulation so filtration and chemicals can do their job after we leave. You’ll get clear notes on follow-up steps and whether a second visit is recommended based on how your pool responds over the next 24–72 hours.

What’s Included

  • Visual inspection of pool, equipment pad, and water level before we start.
  • Manual floor and wall brushing to break up algae and debris.
  • Power vacuuming to waste or through the filter (based on plumbing and condition).
  • Leaf and debris removal from floor, corners, and common dead spots.
  • Filter pressure check and basic backwash/rinse to restore flow where possible.
  • Shock and chemical guidance based on pool volume and current readings.
  • Circulation pattern review (returns aimed correctly, skimmers pulling well).
  • Texted notes on what we did, what we recommend next, and what to watch for.
  • Note: Power Vac focuses on cleanup, not equipment repair — pump, filter, or plumbing fixes are quoted separately if needed.
  • Note: Severe “swamp” pools may require multiple visits — we’ll explain options and expected timelines clearly on site.

Why Choose Empire Pools for Power Vac

  • 25+ years handling “swamp to blue” cleanups across Long Island.
  • We understand LI-specific issues — leaf load, heavy pollen, and power outages after storms.
  • Techs trained to watch filter pressure and flow so equipment isn’t abused during cleanup.
  • Honest talk: we tell you if it’s a 1-visit cleanup or a 2–3 visit project before we start.
  • Clear next-step plan so you’re not guessing what to do after we leave.
  • Text reminders and status updates so you know when we’re on the way and when we’re done.
  • Goal-based mindset: we aim for fast, safe turnaround — not endless “vacuum and hope” visits.

Power Vac — FAQs

When should I book a Power Vac?
Any time the pool is beyond a normal cleaning — green water, heavy debris on the floor, cloudy water that isn’t clearing, or after storms and equipment issues. Sooner is better; waiting usually makes the cleanup harder and slower.
Will one visit make my pool clear?
Sometimes, but not always. Many pools see a big improvement after one Power Vac, then clear over the next 24–72 hours with filtration and chemicals. Severe “swamp” pools can take 2–3 visits — we’ll be straight with you about expectations.
Do you bring chemicals?
We bring standard start-up/shock products and can recommend or apply what’s appropriate for your pool size and condition. Heavier chemical usage may be an additional charge — we’ll review options before proceeding.
Do I need to be home?
Not required as long as we have safe access to the yard, equipment, and power. We’ll text updates and leave clear notes on what was done and what you should do next.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing depends on pool size, depth, access, and how bad the condition is (debris load, algae level, circulation). We’ll look at the pool and give you clear pricing before we start any Power Vac work.
