Professional Pool Care Allows Pool Owners in Sayville, NY To Skip The Pool Cleaning Chore

One of the most exciting reasons to purchase an above ground pool or install an inground pool is to see the smiling faces of your loved ones cooling off on a hot day in Sayville, NY. However, not too soon after your first dip in the pool, you realize that the least exciting part about being a pool owner is the responsibility of cleaning your own swimming pool. Well here’s a solution for all pool owners in Suffolk County. Hire a local professional pool company to handle the pool care. The problem is solved.

Pool Inspections

The typical home inspector may not be trained or certified to officially include your swimming pool as part of the home inspection. And although the pool looks beautiful, you really don’t know what is going on behind the scenes. Local pool companies are pool experts that can visit your potential home and perform a pool inspection on your behalf.

During the inspection, the pool inspector will evaluate the pool pump, motor, heater, lights, and other pool equipment. If you’re buying a home with a pool in Sayville, NY, a pool inspection can give you confidence in your new home purchase.

Pool Openings and Closings

Professional pool care companies are experts at opening pools for the pool season and closing pools for the winter months. Prior to pool closing, a qualified and highly trained technician will carefully inspect your pool’s equipment and plumbing to ensure that the system will be protected from damage during the cold months. In addition, the pool water is chemically balanced to protect the pool surface. A pool closing service in Sayville, NY is necessary to prevent bacteria or algae growth.

If your swimming pool was accurately closed at the end of the previous swimming season, the pool opening at the beginning of the next swimming season will be handled more efficiently. Equipment functionality will be examined and when deemed in working order, the system will be started up. The team will then chemically treat the swimming pool water.

Pool Cleaning Weekly Service

Every Suffolk County pool owner quickly realizes that the pool cleaning process is a bit more than removing leaves and debris from a pool’s surface. It involves the brushing of pool floors, walls, and stairs, pool vacuuming, checking and cleaning filters, removing debris out of strainer baskets, and more. It’s important for you to purchase the right pool cleaning tools like a flat skimmer, skimmer net, brush with telescopic pole, and a manual or robotic pool vacuum. In addition to the actual pool cleaning process, there is also the constant monitoring of the water filtration system and the sometimes difficult testing of the pool water for chemical composition.

Some information about Sayville, NY

Sayville is a hamlet and census-designated place in Suffolk County, New York, United States. Located on the South Shore of Long Island in the Township of Islip, the population of the CDP was 16,853 at the time of the 2010 census.

The earliest known inhabitants of Sayville were the Secatogue tribe of the Algonquian peoples.

Sayville was founded by John Edwards (b. 1738) of East Hampton, New York. He built his home, the first in Sayville, in 1761, located at what is now the northwest corner of Foster Avenue and Edwards Street. The house was destroyed by fire in March 1913. Another man, John Greene, settled what is now known as West Sayville in 1767.

The community had no formal name until 1838 when residents gathered to choose a name for their post office, which had opened on March 22, 1837.Until that time, Sayville was known informally as ‘over south.’ The townspeople held a meeting to decide on a name, and after Edwardsville and Greensville tied in a vote, one resident suggested ‘Seaville’. According to historical accounts, the clerk at that particular meeting did not know how to spell and had to go home and look in an old Bible he had brought from England years before. In the Bible, the word ‘sea’ was spelled ‘s-a-y’, and ‘Sayville’ became the name he sent to Washington. After the error was discovered, the community sent a letter of protest to Washington D.C.; however, the Postmaster General respondedthat the name should stay ‘Sayville’, as there were many ‘Seaville’s in the world but no ‘Sayville’s. As a result, the name stuck. The claim is also sometimes made that ‘in some very old Bibles, the town name is also spelled ‘S-a-v-i-l-l-e”., It may be noted that until the early 19th Century, it was common in many varieties of English to pronounce ‘sea’ so that it rhymed with ‘obey’, and thus ‘Sayville’ could have been a phonetic representation of how some speakers would have pronounced ‘Seaville.’
