A Pool Opening consists of a full filter assembly, a full cover removal, priming and starting of the filter, and a full leak check of the complete filter and summerization chemicals.
Yes — we include chlorine shock, algaecide, and balancing agents as needed during your opening. Specialty treatments (like stain removers or phosphate reducers) can be added for an additional fee.
Nope! As long as we have a credit card on file and access to the pool and all necessary equipment, you don’t need to be home. We’ll text you upon arrival and when the job is complete.
We recommend booking your opening for late March through mid-May, depending on your desired swim season. Earlier is better to beat algae and avoid peak scheduling delays.
Yes — we can open and chemically treat any condition. However, severely green or black pools may require a separate Power Vac or multi-day treatment at an added cost.
Yes — we remove the cover, fan fold it, and place it where you request. For safety covers, we bag and store the cover in your garage or shed.
Yes — we reinstall all standard hardware during the opening. If you’re missing bolts or accessories, we can replace them on-site (parts billed separately).
Not immediately. We chemically treat the water and initiate circulation, but depending on water clarity and temperature, it may take 24–72 hours to balance and clear up entirely. In some rare cases, it can take longer.
Yes — we specialize in starting saltwater systems. We test and check your salt cell, prime the system, and ensure everything is running correctly. Salt is not included with the opening fee.
All cleanings are done on a separate day. Just let us know in advance so we can schedule a cleaning after your opening. Power Vac cleanings are charged separately and priced according to the pool’s condition and size.
Yes — we open all types: in-ground, above-ground, and semi-inground pools. Let us know your pool type when booking so we can bring the right tools and fittings. We do not open Intex pools.
We’ll document it and notify you immediately. If it’s something minor, we may be able to fix it on the spot. Larger repairs will be quoted and scheduled separately.
Yes — many customers add filter cleans, heater checks, salt cell cleaning, or early-season leak inspections. Ask us about bundling to save time and money.
Most openings take about an hour, depending on pool size, condition, and complexity. Filthy pools, large safety covers, or salt systems may take a bit longer.
