Weekly Pool Service on Long Island

Empire Pools keeps inground and above-ground pools on Long Island clear, balanced, and ready-to-swim all season. Our trained techs follow a consistent checklist every visit — skimming, brushing, vacuuming, testing water, balancing chemicals, and verifying equipment — so you’re not stressing about your pool between visits.

What to Expect

Built for Long Island Pools

Weekly service is designed around real Long Island conditions — pollen in the spring, heavy leaf load in wooded yards, salty air near the shore, and hot stretches that burn through chlorine. Each visit, we test and adjust chemistry based on your surface type and pool volume, empty skimmer and pump baskets, skim the surface, brush walls and steps, and vacuum as needed. We keep an eye on filter pressure and flow so we can flag issues early, and we verify timers/automation so your system is doing the work between visits. Before we leave, we log what was done, what was added, and text you any important notes, so you always know where things stand.

What’s Included

  • Skim pool surface to remove leaves, bugs, and wind-blown debris.
  • Brush walls, steps, and trouble spots to help prevent algae buildup.
  • Vacuum pool floor as needed based on debris load and conditions.
  • Empty skimmer and pump baskets; check main drain draw where applicable.
  • Test and balance water (chlorine, pH, alkalinity; stabilizer and salt reviewed as needed).
  • Check filter pressure and backwash/rinse sand or DE filters as appropriate.
  • Verify circulation pattern so returns are aimed correctly for best skimming and mixing.
  • Quick equipment pad visual check to flag leaks, noises, or wiring issues.
  • Visit notes and recommendations sent via text, so you know what was done each week.
  • Note: Major green cleanups, repairs, or one-time Power Vac services are separate and quoted before work.

Weekly Pool Service — FAQs

How often do you come?
Standard service is once per week during the season. Some heavy-use or heavily treed yards may benefit from twice-weekly visits — we’ll discuss what makes sense for your pool.
What’s included vs. extra?
Weekly service includes routine cleaning (skim/brush/vac as needed), basket emptying, basic chemistry testing and balancing, and filter checks. Major green cleanups, repairs, and one-time Power Vac projects are priced separately.
Do you provide chemicals?
We can work with your chemicals or supply them. Many homeowners prefer that we supply and dose; we’ll outline options and costs up front and keep usage noted in your visit history.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we have safe yard and equipment access, we can service your pool while you’re out. We’ll text updates and any notes after each visit.
What if we need to skip a week?
Just let us know ahead of time when possible. We’ll review how long the pool can safely go between visits based on season and conditions, and we’ll adjust your schedule and plan accordingly.
