LOOP-LOC® COVER REPLACEMENT — IMPORTANT INFO

Replacing a LOOP-LOC® Cover? Read This First.

If you have your original LOOP-LOC® order number, we can usually pull the specs and issue a quote from that record. If you don’t, Empire Pools can contact LOOP-LOC to see if your pool is already in their system and quote from the original file. No record on file? We can pick up your current cover and have LOOP-LOC use it as a template for the new one. This gives the best chance to match most (or all) pre-drilled anchors so new holes aren’t needed. (Occasionally, a few new anchors may still be required.)

What You Can Expect

  • Original order path: Provide your LOOP-LOC order number or let us check with LOOP-LOC. If found, we can quote from the original specs.
  • Template path: We pick up your old cover; LOOP-LOC uses it as a precise template for your new cover.
  • Anchor alignment priority: Template method maximizes re-use of existing holes; sometimes a few new anchors are still needed.
  • Hardware review: We assess springs/straps/buckles and recommend replacements if worn.
  • Clear approval: You’ll receive a written quote for sign-off before production starts.
  • $200 template fee policy: Charged only if you do not proceed with the new cover. If you do order the cover, the $200 is credited toward the new cover.
  • Pickup & return: We’ll bag and tag your old cover, coordinate production, and can reinstall and set final tension when the new cover arrives.
  • Final tension & photo log: We set spring tension, trim excess, and document settings for next season.

Replacement Options & Details

Have Your Order Number

  • Fastest path: we quote from the original LOOP-LOC specs.
  • We’ll verify any changes (steps, walls, spas, features) before production.
  • Highest chance of perfect anchor alignment without new drilling.

Not Sure? We Can Check

  • Text us your name, address, and any past installer info.
  • We’ll contact LOOP-LOC to see if your pool is in their system.
  • If found, we quote from the original file; if not, we’ll move to the template path.

Use Old Cover as Template

  • We pick up your existing cover; LOOP-LOC traces it as the template.
  • Best chance to match most pre-drilled anchors; some new holes may still be needed.
  • $200 template fee only applies if you don’t order the new cover; otherwise it’s fully credited.

Empire Pools provides LOOP-LOC® replacement quotes via original order records or template service. Our process prioritizes re-using existing anchors for a clean, minimal-drill install across Suffolk & Nassau.

Serving Suffolk & Nassau. Empire Pools is a Loop-Loc Preferred Installer — expert safety cover installation on Long Island with fast quotes, clear timelines, and meticulous workmanship.

ANCHOR SYSTEM & INSTALLATION DETAILS

Discreet. Durable. Built To Hold For Decades.

Every Loop-Loc® cover we install is secured with solid brass anchors and stainless hardware that are engineered to handle Long Island winters. Anchors are flush-mounted so they’re nearly invisible when not in use, and we space each point precisely for correct cover tension, safety, and longevity.

What You Can Expect

  • Flush-set brass grommets that sit nearly level with the deck when the cover is off — no toe-stubs, no eyesores.
  • Diamond-core drilling and pro vacuuming to prevent cracks and spalls in concrete decks.
  • Exact anchor layout — each location is measured, squared, and tension-balanced so the cover is tight and aligned.
  • Heavy-duty springs, buckles & caps keep hardware clean and safe during swim season.
  • Any surface, done right: concrete, pavers, wood/composite decks, or reinforced soil with proper sleeves and footings.
  • Low-profile finish — nothing sticks up or creates a trip hazard in the off-season.
  • Upgrade path — we can remove old hardware, relocate anchor points, and retrofit for spas, benches, raised walls, and water features.
  • Final tension & photo log — we set spring tension, trim excess, and document settings for next season.

Surface-Specific Details

Concrete Decks

  • Core-drilled, epoxy-free brass anchors with dust control.
  • Anchors set away from expansion joints to avoid cracking.
  • Optional decorative caps to match finish.

Paver/Stone Decks

  • Paver tubes & anti-shift sleeves lock alignment long-term.
  • Load transfers to base — not individual stones.
  • Clean sand re-set and compact after install.

Wood/Composite

  • Through-bolted plates or hidden blocking for pull-through resistance.
  • Stainless hardware for salt/shore climates.

Empire Pools installs and services Loop-Loc® safety cover anchors across Suffolk & Nassau. Precision layouts, clean finishes, and guaranteed alignment on every job.

WOOD & COMPOSITE DECK INSTALLATION

Built-In Safety — No Drilling, No Damage, No Compromise

Not every Long Island pool is surrounded by concrete—and that’s okay. Our Loop-Loc® safety cover installation for wood and composite decks uses low-profile stainless hardware that anchors to deck boards without core drilling. The result: a clean, durable finish that protects your pool all winter with zero risk to your decking.

Here’s How It Works

  • No core-drilling required — hardware anchors into existing deck boards using manufacturer-approved methods.
  • Low-profile stainless steel brackets and plates designed specifically for Loop-Loc covers.
  • Works with wood, composite, and modular deck systems; hidden blocking added where needed for pull-through resistance.
  • Engineered for maximum tension & drainage — strap angles set for winter load, water drains under the cover as designed.
  • Precision measurement — all locations adjusted for board spacing, joist layout, and deck flex to keep alignment tight.
  • Pro finish — fasteners sized for species/composite type; cut ends sealed where applicable; stainless throughout for coastal durability.
  • We’ve installed hundreds of Loop-Loc covers across Long Island — from beachfront properties to elevated wood surrounds.

Empire Pools provides expert Loop-Loc safety cover installation on wood and composite decks in Suffolk & Nassau — clean layouts, correct tension, and hardware that lasts.

Where We Service on Long Island

We proudly service the majority of Nassau and Suffolk County with fast response times and full-service capability. To keep routes tight (and prices fair), we focus on areas where we can deliver reliable, on-time visits all season long.

  • Nassau County: We service most towns across Nassau, including the South Shore as far west as Valley Stream and Malverne. We do not service the far-north Gold Coast towns such as Great Neck and Locust Valley.
  • Suffolk County: Strong coverage in west/central Suffolk. We do not service the East End—no service east of Calverton or east of Bellport (including Hamptons & North Fork).
  • Fast scheduling where we operate most: Dense routes mean quicker ETAs and better pricing in our primary Nassau & Suffolk zones.
  • Not sure if you’re in range? Text your address, town, and nearest cross street. We’ll confirm coverage and the earliest route day in minutes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Loop-Loc Safety Cover FAQ — Clear, Practical Answers

What is a Loop-Loc safety pool cover?
A Loop-Loc® cover is a high-strength mesh or solid safety cover anchored into your deck that prevents accidental entry, blocks debris, and withstands winter loads. It’s custom-measured for your pool and built to exceed ASTM safety standards.
How much does Loop-Loc cover installation cost on Long Island?
Pricing depends on pool size/shape, mesh vs. solid, deck surface (concrete, paver, wood/composite), and obstacles (steps, raised walls, spas). Most residential installs land in the $2k–$5k range. Text us a photo and rough dimensions for a fast, accurate quote.
What’s the difference between mesh and solid Loop-Loc covers?
  • Super-Dense Mesh: drains water, blocks fine debris; lowest winter maintenance (no pump).
  • Aqua-Xtreme: virtually solid mesh—more debris blocking with mesh drainage; very clean openings.
  • Ultra-Loc III Solid: maximum sunlight & debris blocking; cleanest spring water; add drain panel or pump.
Can Loop-Loc covers be installed on wood or composite decks?
Yes. We use low-profile stainless brackets/plates and hidden blocking (no core drilling). Hardware and fasteners are selected for the deck species/brand to prevent pull-through and “mushrooming.”
Do I need a custom-measured Loop-Loc cover?
For a tight, safe fit—yes. We measure from fixed points and account for steps, benches, raised walls, water features, and strap angles so tension is balanced and the cover lies straight.
How long does it take to install a Loop-Loc safety cover?
Most standard pools are completed in one day. Complex shapes, pavers/wood blocking, or heavy obstacle layouts may take longer. We set final spring tension and document settings for next season.
Is a Loop-Loc cover worth it for safety?
Yes—properly installed covers are designed as a safety barrier, support significant snow loads, and lock out pets/wildlife. They also reduce debris and UV exposure, helping water quality at opening.
Can you remove and reinstall my existing Loop-Loc cover?
Absolutely. We inspect straps, springs, and anchors; replace worn parts; and relocate or add anchors where needed to restore alignment and tension.
How long do Loop-Loc covers last?
With correct tension and storage, covers typically last 12–15+ years. Salt/shore environments may require stainless upgrades. We stock OEM parts for repairs.
What colors are available for Loop-Loc covers?
Popular options include Hunter Green, Steel Gray, Mojave Brown, and Sapphire Navy in both mesh and solid fabrics. We’ll show swatches that match your hardscape.
Do I need to be home for the installation?
Not required as long as we have yard access. You’ll receive a two-day reminder, a same-day ETA text, completion photos, and follow-up instructions.
Can Loop-Loc covers be installed on above-ground pools with decks?
In many cases, yes—when there is a sturdy surrounding deck to anchor into and adequate setback for strap geometry. We’ll confirm from photos and measurements.
What’s included with a professional Loop-Loc installation?
Custom measuring, engineered anchor layout, core drilling or bracket install (surface-specific), springs/buckles/caps, final tension set, and a photo & settings log for next season.
Do Loop-Loc covers come with a warranty?
Yes—Loop-Loc provides a manufacturer warranty on fabrics and workmanship. We stand behind our install and offer service support on hardware and alignment.
How do I get started?
Text a wide pool photo and deck close-up with rough dimensions. We’ll recommend the best fabric & hardware and send a no-pressure quote by text/email.
